On the prowl for more volunteers...

05 February 2017
On the prowl for more volunteers... Cats Protection's Telford & District Branch is on the lookout for people who can help with a wide variety of roles and has organised a drop-in event at Meeting Point House, Telford Town Centre on Saturday 25th March from 11am until 3pm.
We are looking for:
  • People to help out at fundraising events by manning stands, talking to members of the public or distributing information
  • People to become Home Visitors, to visit potential new homes for our foster cats / kittens
  • People to volunteer some of their spare time at our Branch shop (Newport)
  • People to become fosterers, to look after the cats and kittens in our care on a daily basis
  • People to become fosterer supporters, providing cat food and cat litter from our storage facility and distributing to one or two local fosterers.
  • One person to become the Branch Treasurer, inputting financial data on a regular basis into our bespoke CP accounting system, full training will be provided.
Volunteering for Cats Protection is a rewarding experience because it gives you the opportunity to be part of a really worthwhile cause. We gain satisfaction from giving unwanted cats a second chance in life, as well as working with like-minded people, so if this sounds of interest, please come and see us!
